Our Mission… is to be a world leader in training the pest control industry by delivering quality instruction using science-based information on curent technologies, with concern for the environment and human health and well-being.
Our vision is to develop an academy where the pest control industry can come to and receive state-of-the-art training in not only pest control methods, but laws and regulations as well as pest biology. Pest Management University (PMU) is a cooperative effort between DACS, the industry and UF/IFAS. There are over 35,000 members of the pest management community in the State of Florida, all in need of training in the art and science of pest management. We will be the leader in that training, resulting in an industry of problem-solvers who have concern for the environment and human health and well-being.
